In 1977 Ann Yates opened the doors of Nature's Pantry as a one-woman show! Located in Homberg place it was a small store with a calculator and a cash drawer! Every inch of space was creatively used making Nature's Pantry unique with its focus on quality natural, healthy foods, supplements, and tasteful gift items.

No inventory, however unique, could stand alone to account for the success and growth that Nature's Pantry has seen. Ann's constant attention to her own education, her customers, her ability to listen and her willingness to be of service is what brought customers in and what kept them returning year after year..

In 1994 Nature's Pantry moved to its present location at 6600 Kingston Pike. This beautiful store, designed and built by Ann, continues the tradition of healthy groceries, organic produce, high-quality supplements, body-care products and unique gift items.

The mission at Nature's Pantry is to purchase products that promote health from companies whose practices promote the health of the Earth; to provide excellence in information, services and products to people seeking a healthy life-style; to act with integrity and with the intention to support kindness, respect and consideration for all people.

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 9:00am - 9:00pm; and Sunday, 12:00pm - 7:00pm.
