More Information

Boardman Hill Farm raises certified organic pork, chicken, turkey, and produce on an organic farm just between Rutland and West Rutland. Being organic, the hogs, turkeys, and chickens are never administered hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products and all the animals are raised in a free-range setting.

Pork is available year-round while the chickens are available from early summer to November, and the turkeys can be purchased for the holiday season. Customers should order their holiday turkeys as early as possible, as, not too recently, each bird was reserved by late summer.

The farmers, Greg and Gay Cox, also run a CSA program for their organic produce, which includes over 50 items. As they say, if you eat it, we grow it. The CSA season runs from May to late October and offers about 70 shares to the general public. Shares come in three sizes: individual ($250/season), family ($400/sesason), and large family ($500/season). Customers can pick up meat and produce at the farm, farm stand, or farmers' markets. Boardman Hill Farm's website should be coming soon.
