Hart-To-Hart Farm in Albion is owned by Doug and Linda Hartkopf and family. This farm has been Certified Organic by MOFGA (Maine Organic Farm Growers Association), and the Hartkopf family is committed to holistic management and care of the plants and animals on the farm. Raw cows' milk from the farm's grass-fed, pasture-raised purebred Jersey and Holstein cows is bottled and sold on site. Farmstead cheese should be available in the near future. Beef and pork are available by whole or by half. Call for more information on cuts available. Free range chicken and eggs are also available on site. Turkeys are also sometimes offered. The animals are never given hormones, antibiotics, or feed containing animal by-products. Hart-to-Hart Farm offers an experiential farm day camp program where 7-12 year old children can come to learn about healthy relationships between the environment, agriculture and the source of food and fiber.
