Located on 500 acres on the shores of magnificent China Lake, Two Loons Farm is a family-owned and operated organic dairy farm with diversified livestock, offering a variety of products available fresh from the farm. The farm is certified organic by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, and is committed to raising the highest quality meats and producing organic milk without the use of hormones or antibiotics. They are a contributing farm for a large organic milk distributor, who purchases most of their milk. Pasture-raised organic Jersey beef is available by the side or in a variety of cuts to order. Two Loons also raises organic milk-fed veal, most of which is served at Portland restaurants. Veal is sometimes raised for special orders by customers. The pigs raised on Two Loons farm are used to produce pork cuts, which, while not certified organic, are completely natural and free of hormones and antibiotics. Organic pasture-raised turkeys are also available. Call ahead to place your Thanksgiving order! Organic eggs from pasture-raised chickens are available year-round. The farm also produces certified organic grain for animal feed.
