About Gould Farm's Harvest Barn

Gould Farm is the first residential therapeutic community in the nation dedicated to helping adults with mental illness move toward recovery, health and greater independence through community living, meaningful work and individual clinical care. At the Harvest Barn, the Gould Farm community sells fresh baked goods made with ingredients grown on the farm. Close by is the Roadside Store & Cafe, a restaurant featuring many local ingredients, including many from the farm itself such as the dairy, eggs, and some meat. The farm produces cheese, yogurt, eggs, ice cream, produce and beef. Although the main purpose of the farm is to make their community self-sustainable, when extra products are available, they are used in the bakery, restaurant and for sale to the public.
