About Taggarts Dunk Hill Beef Farm

We sell naturally-grown beef ready to put in your freezer or on your grill. We also have registered Hereford stock and commercial stock to start your own herd. These are friendly, easy to handle animals. We also have square bales of hay and maple syrup for sale.

All the cattle are raised out on pasture for the majority of their lives. Just before it comes time to slaughter, they're placed in the barn and fed a grain ration.

There is currently a waiting list for the beef, as the farm only processes about 10 cattle a year (4 or 5 during the spring and fall). Give a call and place your name on the list. Meat is processed at a local facility where it can be further processed into specific cuts based on customer request. Meat is generally sold by the ½ or ¼.
