About Palouse Natural Beef
Beef & Produce Palouse Natural Beef maintains the largest Dexter herd in the United States. Dexters are the original Celtic cattle that roamed Ireland before the Roman Empire. Dexters are small, hardy animals known for tenderness and flavor. We also raise a number of Charolais and Angus cattle. All animals are 100% grass fed and never given hormones or antibiotics. Our herd thrives on hundreds of acres of certified organic pasture and alfalfa hay. Our USDA certified organic farm is dedicated to providing safe and wholesome food for the community. The farm produces certified organic vegetables sold at farmers’ markets, the Moscow Food Coop, and to individuals.
