About Appalachian State University Farm
The ASU farm is a teaching, research and demonstration facility for sustainable, organic vegetable farming and gardening production techniques and practices. The farm incorporates a 2.5 acre reconstructed wetland with more than 20 species of native wetland plants and a variety of wildlife helping with pest control. Research projects include alley cropping, no-till, cover corps, variety and crop trials, farm scaping and ecological pest management.Near This Listing
