The Hatcher Family Dairy has been in the family for five generations. They process and pasteurize their milk themselves, to keep total control of their products. The Hatchers believe in rotational grazing as an effective feeding method, allowing their cows to do most of the harvesting. The Hatcher cows are primarily pasture-fed, and are not supplemented with rBST. Their line of products includes whole milk (cream line, not homogenized), 2% milk, skim milk, and chocolate milk. Come to the Hatcher Family Dairy Store to meet the farmers. They have dairy products along with eggs, home-baked bread, and lunch is served daily. Their products can also be purchased throughout the Nashville area at Whole Foods Market, Wild Oats Natural Marketplace, College Grove Grocery, Blackdog Market and other locations.
