Delvin Farms
About Delvin Farms
Hank and Cindy Delvin have been growing vegetables commercially for over 30 years. All of their vegetables are USDA certified organic, grown without the use of any chemical fertilizers, harmful chemical pesticides or insecticides. They are grown in a sustainable manner by crop rotation and using cover crops which are tilled back into the soil and by using drip irrigation. Delvin Farms makes their own compost by recycling organic matter and collecting waste from local stables and farms. Delvin Farms allows customers to sign up for a CSA share, with 5 pick-up locations in Nashville and surrounding areas. Eggs are also available upon request, collected from a neighboring farm. The eggs are locally grown from free range chickens. They cannot be marketed as "organic" because the farmers do not have the USDA certification but know that they are grown with the same quality as Delvin Farm's produce, without antibiotics or hormones.Near This Listing
