About The Family Farm
The Family Farm is a 3 acre intensive biodynamic urban farm that specializes in heirloom produce, poultry and eggs. Located near the intersection of Harris and Martinsville Roads, The Family Farm seeks to integrate sustainable practices like rain water conservation, composting, solar, wind and on- farm recycling. It is our goal that within the next 3 years to establish The Family Farm as a training and demonstration farm so that future generations are armed with the knowledge and skills to secure and protect their local food system.
