Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market started in 2009 as an idea and wish to support local farmers & producers; be part of the revitalization of downtown Gloversville AND provide good nutritious food at fair prices to their consumers. Six years later, and one move after, they are proud to feature food products from over 60 local and regional farmers and producers. They continue to build a network of local producers; promote community well being and environmental stewardship; offer nutrition information through on-going educational outreach; support economic sustainability of the local economy; seek to be a valuable resource for the community and part of a vibrant downtown area; create a sense of community and belonging; and of course, operate for the benefit of the community.
