Bowman Road Farm
About Bowman Road Farm
Bowman Road Farm is a NOFA certified, 200-acre farm producing Hereford beef cattle and hay. It was the first farm settled in the town of Barnard in 1775 by Thomas Freeman. We raise 100% grass-fed and grass-finished cattle and also feature a 500 tap sugar bush. We harvest in the fall - like strawberries. Our steers are born and raised on the farm, rotationally grazed in the summer and fed our own hay in the winter. We are proud to have 10 years of NOFA organic certification for our excellent beef.
Our beef is harvested mainly in the fall, but we try to have ground beef on hand year round in 1 lb packages which we sell in 50 lb cases with USDA labels. We have been delivering 1/2 and whole cut wrapped and frozen to family customers and retail stores under USDA label for the past 10 years.
