Tir Na Nog Farm
About Tir Na Nog Farm
(which means Land of the Young in Gaelic) We are an 80-acre hill family farm raising our animals on green pastures in the Catskill Mountains. We started farming on our own ten years ago. The farm boasts 50 Bourbon Reds, who were acquired from Stromberg hatchery. From the beginning, the goal of the Flaherty's has been to run a sustainable, grass-based farm employing humane animal practices. Animals are raised on native grasses and legumes that re-grow each year and are moved every few days to new pasture to increase weight gains, reduce disease and improve nutrient distribution.Near This Listing
