Maverick Ranch Natural Meats is privately owned and operated by the Roy Moore family, its founders. As fourth generation family ranchers, the Moore family has been ranching in Idaho since 1881. The family produces all-natural beef, certified organic beef, all-natural pork, lamb, free-range chicken and turkey, and buffalo. All of the livestock are raised without sub-therapeutic antibiotics or hormones and their feed and pastures are never sprayed down with pesticides. Natural beef is laboratory tested for 16 antibiotic strains and 20 chlorinated pesticides. Chickens are air-chilled for safety and superior meat quality and are never de-beaked. Maverick Ranch Natural Meats produces the official beef, pork, and buffalo of the U.S. Olympic Training Centers, and today, Maverick Ranch is a marketing and processing brand that not only markets the cattle from our family ranch in Idaho, but from hundreds of other like-minded family farms and ranches as well.
