Weavers Way Co-op, provides a friendly shopping environment and a wide variety of quality foods, at prices lower than supermarkets. Members realize savings in several ways. The Co-op is owned by its members, so there is no owner taking profits off the top. Because members must work in the store six hours a year, a substantial portion of the Co-op's labor costs are defrayed. And by purchasing many items in bulk, and either selling them in bulk bins or repackaged by volunteers, Weavers Way keeps prices even lower.
