About Sprout Creek Farm and Market
Sprout Creek is a 200-acre, working educational farm that raises free-ranging cows, sheep, goats, wild turkeys, guinea fowl, chickens, and pigs and provides environmental education programming to over 5,000 children annually. Sprout Creek products are available for purchase from the farm's on-site market selling their internationally award-winning cheeses and farm-produced meats, eggs, and wool, as well as local Hudson Valley milk, eggs, vegetables, crafts, and gifts. Some products are also available online. As farmers, they strive to be a socially and environmentally responsible local food source, providing their animals with ideal habitats. Their animals are rotated through the Sprout Creek pastures from March through November, maximizing forage time. All of Sprout Creek's proceeds support their educational programs and responsible farming practices.
