About Cobb Hill
Cheesemaking began at Cobb Hill in December, 2000. We have operated year round since then. Cobb Hill Cheese is made with raw whole milk from the farm’s small herd of grass fed Jersey cows. We farm without chemical fertilizers, feeds or additives. We produce two kinds of cheese, Ascutney Mountain (an alpine cheese) and Four Corners Caerphilly using vegetable rennet. Our cheese is sold on the farm as well as in many regional coops and small stores. We’re at the Norwich, VT Farmers Market on Saturdays from May through October. We ship wheels to specialty cheese shops and restaurants throughout the Northeast.
