About Providence Pastures Farm

We are an Old-Fashioned Family Farm, located on 150 acres nestled in a beautiful valley at the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in Northwestern Pennsylvania (about 30 miles SE of Lake Erie). Over the past decade, we've done a lot of research on nutrition, the food supply and health as we worked to become self- sufficient in providing healthy, tasty food for our own growing family. What we've learned is that our grandparents had the right idea when they either raised their own food or bought it from a local farm! We started out homesteading; big family garden a few chickens for eggs and meat and a family milk cow. During these early years we came to realize that there is nothing like sitting down to a home cooked meal consisting only of naturally grown, fresh foods! Our deep satisfaction with this way of life and a growing public interest in our natural, local foods led us to buy our farm in 2002, allowing us the privilege of sharing with others what we've been enjoying -- food the way God intended it to be -- all natural and chemical-free.
