About Fat Rooster Farm

Nestled in the Upper Valley along Vermont's scenic White River, Fat Rooster Farm is a diversified, certified organic farm, specializing in heirloom varieties of vegetables and heritage breeds of livestock. Our crops include 4 varieties of garlic, 23 varieties of tomatoes, as well as 200 other varieties of sweet corn, beans, squash, potatoes, greens, onions and flowers. We raise organic beef, lamb, chicken, turkey and naturally raised pork, maple syrup and honey. Our woodlot is used to provide wood for home use, and mail-order gifts of bowls, hardwood pens and furniture. We have 2 or 3 apprentices every spring and summer. Visit our website for more information on the Apprentice Program. Since 2001, we've operated a CSA program that offers a variety of share options. Full shares, which include meat, vegetables, and syrup; and vegetarian shares are available. For complete details on the CSA, types of shares available, and pick-up and payment options, please visit Fat Rooster Farm's website.
