About Share-Life Farms

Share-Life Farms is certified organic by Quality Certification Services. We have been a vegetable and fruit CSA farm since 1999, and chemical-free since 1994, growing melons, greens, berries, pumpkins and a whole assortment of other produce goods. We also raise organic cage-free eggs and sometimes offer molasses from our organic sorghum. We are aware and try to meet the needs of the chemically-sensitive. As our organic certification suggests, we limit our use of even low-impact chemical inputs and never use hormones or antibiotics on our chickens. Our fruits, vegetables and eggs are available through our CSA, at farmers markets and at some local restaurants and stores, including Main Squeeze in Columbia. We make some sales directly on the farm, but most direct customers come to us through our CSA. Our CSA members received boxes delivered to the Kansas City Metro area, Columbia, MO, and during on-farm pick-up. Although work is absolutely not required by CSA members, they may work as payment for a CSA share. Visit our website for more information on our CSA program. Call ahead for on-farm visits, which are always welcome. We are also always willing to consider farm internships and welcome volunteer opportunities.
