Hundred Pines Farm
About Hundred Pines Farm
"Almost" organic, range-fed, pastured poultry . . . We raise Cornish X Rock (jumbo) fryer chickens. They spend two to three weeks in the brooder, then they're on the field in a portable pen; moved daily so they are able to do chicken-y things like peck and scratch and lounge on the grass. We butcher them (on-farm) at 8 weeks of age--our whole family is part of the operation! The birds weigh out at around 5 to 5.5 pounds. Days / Hours of Operation: We mail a spring and summer newsletter with the dates and times when we butcher chickens. Usually we process birds one Saturday morning each month (May-Sept); our customers pick-up and pay for their birds that afternoon between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Our facility is handicap accessible.Near This Listing
