Far Away Hill Farm
About Far Away Hill Farm
3 years ago, Dan and Bridget Cavna moved from their homestead in Oxford, CT to raise poultry in Washington County. You can order their pasture-raised chicken and turkey, as well as eggs by telephone, or pick up their products at the Salem, Cambridge and Greenwich Farmers' Markets from May to October. The Cavnas currently have 50 broilers and 150 layer hens, who graze on fresh pasture daily (within movable pens), and are fed on local grain. Turkeys are processed in November and are available by special order only. The animals are fed neither hormones nor antibiotics, and enjoy plenty of sunlight and fresh air.Near This Listing
