About McAuliffe's Mountain View Farm

Located in beautiful East Berne, the heart of the Helderbergs, McAuliffe's Mountain View Farm uses responsible land management and respect for the animals living there to produce great-tasting, healthy meats for you.

Currently, they raise Belted Galloway cattle, which are similar to Scottish Highland in both texture and health benefits. The McAuliffes grow their own hay for feed, and you can be sure there are no chemicals or pesticides on their land; they have been on the farm for 20 years. Cattle graze on different pastures at different times of year, ensuring that the land never becomes overburdened by intensive grazing.

Their layer hens are also allowed to graze rotationally, and they are completely pasture-raised. Their eggs taste great because the hens are in fresh air, sunlight and a stress-free environment. The McAuliffes will have meat chickens and turkeys on the farm soon; all will be free to roam the pasture.

Come and visit the farm store. There you'll find great meats available in a variety of cuts, as well as many homemade jams, jellies, pickled products and fresh garden veggies (when there is extra from the garden)! Call for more info.
