About Thunder View Farms

Thunder View Farms is a beef and crop farm owned and operated by the Coombe family. We raise purebred Black Angus cattle and the grass, hay, and corn they are fed. Our beef is delicious and all-natural, contains no hormones or antibiotics, and is available for your home freezer. The cattle feast on grasses for much of their lives and are supplemented with all-natural grain for three to four months prior to processing. The beef comes from a closed herd of cattle that extends as far back as five generations. The only new animal to join the herd is the occasional bull every three to four years.

Meat is generally sold September to May by the ½ or ¼ or as hamburger in 50lb. lots. The meat is processed at a local, USDA-inspected facility and picked up by the family's own freezer truck. The meat can be picked up from the farm or delivered to customers in the area. Delivery is available to customers living a good distance away, although it is requested that these customers meet halfway, at least.

Do note that hamburger availability is variable from year to year. Hamburger is usually sold in April and May and it always sells out.
