A string of small businesses assemble The Parkside Cafe. The Snack Bar opened in 1949 and is known for its burgers, smoothies, soft serve ice cream & fries, it is the common pit-stop for beach goers. The Parkside Cafe Restaurant serves a full breakfast, lunch & dinner menu. Customers can sit inside next to a fireplace and look out onto the beach or enjoy the outdoor patio and garden area. The Room is a private dining area and retail space where you can have a private dining experience created by the owners or stop in to buy locally made hand selected products. Last, and definitely not least, The Bakery. A small artisan bakery that produces pastries and all the bread used throughout The Parkside. The bread is also distributed to other local retailers and restaurants around the Bay Area. Parkside Cafe is a restaurant and cafe with outdoor dining. The organic salad greens on the menu and most other produce is organic. Organic wines are available. All milk and cheese used is rBGH-free. Parkside cafe also serves free-range chicken and other meats from animals that have not been fed animal by-products, added growth hormones or antibiotics.
