About The Food Trust
The Food Trust's mission is to ensure that everyone has access to affordable, nutritious food. Founded in 1992, the Trust works to improve the health of children and adults, promote good nutrition, increase access to nutritious foods, and advocate for better public policy. As the need for pro-active measures towards the reduction of diet-related illness has grown as a public health issue, so has the demand and need for The Food Trust's services. The Food Trust continues to reach new heights of success in promoting healthy eating and food availability in urban communities and advocating for policy to promote long-term change.
