About Hillside Farms

Hillside Farms has been in the family since the 1940's, but Gary and B.J. have been the owners since 1990. Through hard work, their buffalo herd is producing a great tasting, healthy product sold locally in stores and restaurants. Buffalo meat and by-products are also sold in the farm store located on the property. In the Paso Fino barn are several National Champions and the quality of the offspring improves each year as their breeding program grows to fruition. The litters of Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppies round out the type of rare animals that are lovingly raised on Hillside Farms. Our buffalo are not subjected to chemicals, drugs and hormones. Nor are they force-fed in high density pens. They are handled as little as possible and spend most of their time grazing.
