Joshua Applestone, a third generation butcher who runs the store with his wife Jessica, was actually a vegan for 18 years and only recently began eating meat again, and not just any meat, but the meat that he purchases and sells at Fleisher's. Joshua asserts that all of the meat, dairy, and egg products available at Fleisher's have come from pastured animals that were raised and processed by the most humane means possible.

Fleisher's Grass-fed & Organic Meats is starting a door-to-door, fresh meat delivery service to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island City. Fleisher's will bring whatever it is you want right to your home or office. And everything that arrives on your doorstep is cut, ground and packaged the same day.
