Located in downtown St. Croix Falls, Fine Acres Market is owned and operated by residents committed to offering local and organic products to the area. Our mission is to empower our customers to strive for perfect health, to protect our land, air, water and all living things, and to support our local communities. Fine Acres Market procures organic local produce, meat, dairy, eggs, and baked goods, and offers a variety of all natural and organic vitamins, supplements, herbal remedies, and body care products, some of which are also local. A small amount of our produce is raised organically on our own Fine Acres Farm, including kale, greens, tomatoes, zucchini, and squash. Much of our produce is raised in the region on small, non-certified organic farms, and distributed by co-ops such as West Wind Community Co-op. Even during the winter, we have access to delicious produce such as carrots, mushrooms and beets from Wisconsin. When we cannot get regional produce, Co-op Partners Warehouse provides us with quality certified organic products from around the country. Our meat is organically raised, and we source locally whenever possible, offering local bison, beef, and chicken, among other meats. Much of our meat comes from Beaver Creek Ranch in Grantsburg, or from the West Wind Community Co-op. We also offer Alaskan salmon. Our range of prepared goods, such as freshly baked organic bread from Community Homestead and cultured vegetables, like sauerkraut and kim chi, from Spirit Creek Farm, offer our customers diversity in organic selection.
