Southeastern African American Organic Network
About Southeastern African American Organic Network
For nearly a decade, we have dedicated our services to protecting and preserving African American agriculture heritage through organic farming. Through this method of farming, we return to our cultural traditions, we protect our land from harmful chemicals, we preserve biodiversity and we grow food with real worth. As the first and the largest network of organic African American farmers, our goal is to raise the visibility of our farmers’ enterprises both nationally and internationally. We are a regional organization representing eight states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and the Virgin Islands. We believe Organic Farming: Is vital to the financial success to each of our farmers. Provides our communities with clean produce. Protects our land for future generations.Near This Listing
