One of their goals is to help show Park Ridge kids where their food comes from. To provide fresh produce directly from the people who grow or prepare it. To encourage citizens to shop in town and help introduce them to other local stores where possible. To provide a local meeting place. To manage the market, not as a City function, rather with a group of citizen-volunteers. And to insure the integrity of the products and farmers who produce them.
