Gardens of Eagan
About Gardens of Eagan
Gardens of Eagan is owned and run by the Diffleys, who are seasoned organic farmers, innovators, and local food advocates and educators. They are one of the longest certified organic operations in the United States, having been first certified in 1975.Gardens of Eagan is famous for their coveted signature crop: sweet corn. But they are also in demand for their tomatoes; green, red and hot peppers; green, red, and savoy cabbage; green and purple broccoli; white and purple cauliflower; green, red and lacinato kale; cucumbers; mixed watermelons; and winter squash. They have a full service roadside stand at 4355 S. Robert Trail in Eagan which is open daily between 10:00am-6:30pm from late July through October 31. Their products are also sold at select Twin Cities locations. The Wedge Co-op has agreed to purchase Gardens of Eagan, ensuring that the farm will stay in operation and a steady flow of organic sweet corn will reach Midwest co-ops next year.Near This Listing
