We are urban farming right on the outskirts of Portland. We are squeezing as much as possible into 3 acres including: lots of organic veggies, lamb, chicken, and various fruit trees. We have lamb available by the whole or half (Sept), whole chickens (Aug), and tons of fresh veggies. Chickens raised on green grass and organic feed. Diggin’ Roots Farm is committed to raising meat with the life and health of the animal in mind. The Redbro bird is an alternative breed of chicken, selected for its ability to forage, live outside, and be healthy. Consequently, you are buying meat that actually tastes like chicken, contains higher levels of Omega-3s, and which was raised with plenty of room to roam. Our birds are outside from Day 1, with access to fresh pasture, sunlight, and air. Once old enough, they are rotated daily to new grass.
