Gordon SQ. Market is located in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood of Cleveland. The mission of GSQM is fourfold: to build and strengthen connections amongst local growers, artisans and consumers; to educate consumers about the benefits of increasing and preserving local agriculture and buying local products; to provide a market for new and/or small urban growers to immerse themselves in a market, thereby creating a niche for themselves in the local food system; to serve the surrounding neighborhoods, including people of all income levels, by providing fresh, high quality, locally grown produce as well as by providing an environment that fosters social -gathering, -interaction and -inclusion.
