Their menus reflect a combination of traditional and new cuisine, using only the freshest ingredients and working with local producers to ensure the highest quality. Chef Amy Tornquist, who trained at La Varenne in France, opened the catering company in 1993. She is known for her seasonal cooking with locally grown and produced, often organic, foods, and has been featured in Food and Wine Magazine, the News and Observer and on WUNC-TV, among others.
