About Brinkley Farms

We offer a wide variety of produce, pasture-raised pork and beef, and eggs. We sell at the Durham, Carrboro, and Oxford Farmers' Markets. We also offer a CSA. Our chickens are free-range, and there are no cages on our farm, just a very large nest for them to relax and lay eggs. We use integrated pest management for our vegetable production, which means that we spray only if we have to. We have a private pesticide license, and keep records of all applications on the farm at all times, for the EPA and for our own use. Safety is our first concern. Our pasture raised beef is antibiotic and hormone free. Our cattle are not confined in buildings and are fed the grain we grow and the grass that grows in our pastures. You can taste the difference. We proudly raise our own antibiotic and hormone free pigs and hogs on open pasture, never confined to any buildings or tight surroundings. We raise them mainly on grass, and supplement their feed with our own natural grain. You can taste the difference.
