About Center for Land-Based Learning
The Center for Land-Based Learning's Farm on Putah Creek is an educational farm focused on wildlife-friendly farming practices, local, sustainable food production, and habitat restoration. We welcome all ages to the Farm, from preschool to college students, and from farmers to agency staff. The Farm is a great place to get practical experience in the basics of sustainable agriculture and food production; build compost piles, learn about native pollinators and their habitat, sow cover crops, plant native trees and shrubs along Putah Creek, cook in our outdoor kitchen, or build and install barn owl boxes (just to name a few activities).
