Beaver's is Houston's original cocktail bar and gastropub in the icehouse tradition. Icehouses in Texas have a long history of being THE cornerstone of a neighborhood: once the only place to get ice, they soon became gathering places to drink beer, eat and hang out with neighbors. With a focus on Texas coastal cuisines and playful (but serious) cocktails, beer and wine, Beaver's takes the icehouse to another level. Beaver's is a huge supporter of local farms, with many of their suppliers listed on their menu. Every week, they create a new green drink for Beaver's new green happy hour, and serve a full green menu once a week. Some proceeds from the green menu go to a local group working to make Houston a more sustainable city.
