Mariposa started in 2004 because founder Patti Furey Crane was gluten-intolerant, baking a lot of baked goods to satisfy her own cravings and there were few gluten-free artisan baked goods available on the market at that time. Patti is always searching for ways to bring the healthiest ingredients into the bakery and they do their best to use as many organic ingredients as possible while still putting out a product that's affordable to their customers. Not every ingredient is organic, but many are.
