About Alemany Farm and Market
Alemany Farm is a project of the Alemany Resident Management Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving conditions in the Alemany Community, a 165-unit public housing development beset by high unemployment and recurring violence. The Alemany Resident Management Corporation believes that we can address the root causes of violence by providing youth with meaningful opportunities for advancement. Our fiscal sponsor is Renaissance Parents of Success, a Bayview Hunters Point organization with a strong track record of helping at-risk teens. To help fulfill our goals, we are working with volunteer gardeners from throughout San Francisco who are helping to share horticulture skills with Alemany residents.
