About Greens Restaurant
Having opened in 1971, Greens Restaurant was a pioneer in establishing vegetarian cuisine in the United States. Green Gulch Farm, located in the Marin Headlands, is just 14 miles away from Greens Restaurant. The farm provides the restaurant with a myriad of fresh, organic produce year round, ranging from chard, leeks and winter squash to flowering herbs. In addition to Green Gulch Farm, Greens draws on an extended family of local growers and organic farmer's markets for its ingredients.
