Gold Mine began in 1985 as a small family business in a gold mining town in the mountains, but quickly outgrew their cabin and moved to San Diego. They distribute traditional macrobiotic foods and hard-to-find organic, heirloom quality grains, beans, and seeds, cultivating a network of friends and local businesses that are eager to obtain these high quality products. Many of their products are certified organic and kosher, including their own raw sauerkraut.
