Toxic Free North Carolina
About Toxic Free North Carolina
The School Children’s Health Act was created in 2006 by Toxic Free NC and a coalition of NC children’s health advocates to reduce health risks to students and staff from toxic substances in schools. On October 1st, the law took full effect for all the state’s public schools, including charter schools. Under the law, public and charter schools must adopt Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs that focus on common sense pest prevention and least-toxic methods for pest control at school, both indoors and out.Near This Listing
