About Esopus Creek Farm

Join our CSA to get veggies and herbs every week! Our CSA features heirloom and culinary varieties. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a marketing arrangement that connects consumers with a farm. CSA members buy a share of the year's harvest. They sign up in the spring and receive weekly boxes of field-fresh produce. CSA has many benefits: Members receive the highest quality seasonal produce, support local economies, can visit the farm to help and learn about farming The farmer receives payment in spring when it's needed to purchase seeds, materials and pay wages. Freed from marketing worries, the farmer can focus on growing great food. The farmer can grow diversity of crops rather than just one — which builds biodiversity on the farm. CSA Members enjoy the bounty of the seasons, and share in the risks of farming. At times, poor harvests are possible due to bad weather or pests. Weekly boxes of produce are diverse and bountiful at most times, but vary with the seasons' successes and losses. Harvest varies with the season and weather: early season includes lettuces, radishes and mint. Midsummer brings summer squash and tomatoes. Later season brings melons and hard squash. A complete list of our produce can be found on our about page. The CSA drops off at GRDN, 103 Hoyt Street, between Atlantic and Pacific in Boerum HIll, Brooklyn.
