Second Chance Farm
About Second Chance Farm
Our land was used as an unsustainable cattle farm for many years, and sold at auction in 2005. We bought it and started trying to reclaim and rejuvenate the soil and ecosystem. We grow an array of vegetables with a focus on heirloom varieties and unusual types. We only purchase seeds from companies that do not sell genetically modified seeds, and we are involved in the Certified Naturally Grown program and use organic methods. We grow lettuces, basil, tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, beans, peppers, flowers, squash, pumpkins, and watermelons. We sell at the Jonesborough market and off the farm.
