Johnson Hillside Farm
About Johnson Hillside Farm
Since 1997 Ned and Joyce Johnson have been raising all naturally grown produce on their small farm. They use organic methods and a greenhouse to produce gourmet salad mixes, which include mesclun, and tomatoes. Most of this produce goes toward filling community supported agriculture (CSA) weekly subscription baskets, available in the Kingsport area from May to October. More recently the Johnsons have extended the availability of their produce, distributing micro grains and mesclun to local restaurants, such as Martha Washington Inn in Abingdon and Troutdale Dining Room in Bristol.
