About Northwest Organic Farm

Northwest Organic Farm is a family run, USDA certified organic farm located in lush Ridgefield, Washington. Our primary crops are garlic and garlic curls in May (French), shallots, sweet peas, green beans and Heirloom Tomatoes. We also have eggs, tomato starts in May, and starting in 2009 we'll harvest wonderfully flavorful strawberries. Northwest Organic Farm is also certified by Oregon Tilth, a nonprofit organization supporting and promoting biologically sound and socially equitable agriculture through education, research, advocacy, and certification. We have a home farm stand from June through October and sell lettuce all year long, and we're always open to public visits, though we request you call ahead. We're always happy to take names and types of tomato plants you'd like to order. Beginning in 2009, there will be a limited CSA program offered. Because it is just starting, the produce offered in the CSA is open to suggestion - it can be specialized to the tastes of its members. There are also free-range eggs and honey available by request. The dropoffs will be at the farm, and visitors are always welcome. We are hosting a garlic and heirloom tomato festival on Sept 19 2009. It's fee to attend, and there will be GREAT bluegrass music - so come on out taste our 15 different types of tomatoes and garlic! Directions: I-5 to Exit 9. Make a left (west) on 179th St., then go 4 miles and make a left on 61st Ave. We are the first driveway.
