Prospect Lefferts Gardens CSA
About Prospect Lefferts Gardens CSA
Prospect Lefferts Gardens Community Supported Agriculture is a partnership between people in our Brooklyn neighborhood and local farmers. In the spring, members purchase “shares” of vegetables, fruit, eggs, pasta, meats and/or cheese. This gives the farmers much needed financing for purchasing equipment and supplies. In return, the farm delivers a portion of the harvest to members every week throughout the growing season, from late May through early November. Members get a variety of vegetables and other products throughout the season, all organic and freshly picked. The CSA shares are distributed at the Maple Street School. You can read more about the farms that supply shares on the Prospect Lefferts Gardens website.Near This Listing
