About Meadow Lane Farm

Since 1919, Meadow Lane family farm has been in the business of raising Angus beef cattle on the rolling pastureland near Louisburg in Franklin County, NC. They also raise on pasture grass-fed lamb, Chevon (Boer goat meat), and Berkshire pork. Their animals are raised humanely and environmentally friendly on native pastures, grass and clover, their farm raised oats, barley and rye. All of their animals are born on the farm, spend their entire lives on pasture, and are tracked from "conception to the table." The farm never uses hormones or non-therapeutic antibiotics and never confine their animals to a factory feedlot. You can find their meats and certified organic vegetables at local farmers market and at their farm by appointment. Every fall, the farm is open to school groups and individuals for farm visits.
